AvMap's EKP-IV boasts the LARGEST sunlight-viewable portable GPS moving map system in the world. We combine a high resolution TFT color display with AvMap software technology.

The AvMap EKP-IV brings situational awareness to the next level in a portable moving map GPS. Featuring a new more compact unit profile with an even LARGER and more brilliant color sunlight-viewable 7" LCD display and internal batteries for emergency use. EKP-IV redefines portable GPS moving map systems.

                          

By strategically positioning menu keys along the sides of the slimmed-down case the unit can operate in Portrait and Landscape mode.

A key improvement is also present in the area of chart data storage and software. The EKP-IV utilize a 128MB Compact Flash (CF) so to have a full high detail continental coverage-integrating roads regional chart plus Jeppesen data (for Europe or America depending on the version).

The EKP uses Jeppesen`s aeronautical database system as well as the AVIOportolano database covering over 300 Italian ULM Airfields
